Accessibility statement
PULSE is used by educators, related service providers, paraprofessionals and families with every kind of need. We build it so everyone can use it.
The standard we work to
We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, on this website and in PULSE, in both the light and the dark mode.
How we check
- Automated accessibility checks (axe) on every public page, in light and in dark.
- Text and status colors chosen to meet the AA contrast ratios, with those ratios checked in our tests.
- Every control reachable and usable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring.
- Motion turned off when your device asks for reduced motion. Nothing depends on motion to be understood.
- Status is never shown by color alone: every status also has words.
These checks are our own. PULSE has not had an independent accessibility audit, and holds no accessibility certification.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of PULSE or this website is hard for you to use, please tell us what you were trying to do, the page, and the device or assistive technology you use. Use the Connect With Us form or write to eric@theinclusivepractice.com. We will reply, and work with you on another way to get what you need while we fix it.
